The ICUD2017 proposes a change in the submission procedure compared to previous ICUD events. The motivations are both to shorten the submission period offering the audience the latest findings and to enable the authors to publish their work to a scientific journal of their liking without any copyright conflicts.
Six months prior to the event (March 2017) we await the submissions of 2-page extended abstracts completed with one page of supplementary material (Figs, Tabs etc.). Extended abstracts are the basis for the decision on the submission acceptance, the type of presentation and scientific program structuring.
Two months prior to the event the authors submit revised extended abstracts or full papers. Submission of full papers is based on voluntary basis and is not subject to another review (except for basic formatting check). Young authors who compete for the Poul Harremoës Award are required to submit a full paper which is further evaluated by the scientific committee.
